The DQM Check for Radio Chemistry Tracer Recovery will qualify results if tracer sample recoveries fall outside Quality Control (QC) limits. (Note that DT_RESULT_QC must be populated for this check to function).
Check name is EarthSoft.DQM.RadChemTracerRecovery = Radiochemistry Tracer Recovery.
This check uses the reportable_result, result_type_code and test_batch_type parameters from Global Parameters. There are two other parameters:
•Result_type_code_tracer – Defaults to TRA.
•SecondTracer – If “Y”, then a second tracer must fail the test before results are qualified. This parameter depends on the value entered in the ANALYTIC_METHOD column. Defaults to “N” if no parameter entered.
Notes: •The default value is used if there is no record in RT_DQM_CHECK_PARAM for an input parameter. •The default value is used if the PARAM_VALUE is NULL for this parameter in RT_DQM_CHECK_PARAM. |
There are six rules:
1.REC > UCL = DT_RESULT_QC.QC_SPIKE_RECOVERY > DT_RESULT_QC.QC_SPIKE_UCL.
2.ASSO DETECTS OF REC > UCL.
3.ASSO NON-DETECTS OF REC > UCL.
4.REC < LCL = DT_RESULT_QC.QC_SPIKE_RECOVERY < DT_RESULT_QC.QC_SPIKE_LCL.
5.ASSO DETECTS OF REC < LOW_CUTOFF.
6.ASSO NON-DETECTS OF REC < LOW_CUTOFF.
For tracer results:
•Associated results are found using DT_TEST.TEST_ID.
•Different qualifiers may be specified for those associated results with a detected concentration, and for those without (i.e. non-detect).
In the Errors tab of the DQM Event Review Form, these errors may be listed:
•"One of the required rules for this check is not present in the RT_DQM_RULE table."
If you receive this error, the QAPP can be updated following the How to Update Existing QAPPs documentation page.
•"Tracer LCL/UCL IS Not Numeric."
If you receive this error, the check will be skipped.
•"Spike Duplicate Recovery data missing from DT_RESULT_QC for either {0} or {1} and {2}."
If you receive this error, the check will be skipped.
