Analytical and Water Results

Report Name: Analytical and Water Results (example)

File Name: EarthSoft.Reports.Library.44408.dll

Dependencies: Analytical Results II and Water Levels II

Software: EQuIS Professional and EQuIS Enterprise

Source: EQuIS Professional install

Language: English

Output Type: Report Grid1

Description: Analytical and Water Results runs the Analytical Results II and Water Levels II Reports, and combines the output rows so the water level data are reported as CAS_RN results. This enables direct comparison in crosstab reports. This report uses specific logic for computing the corrected water level elevation, based on input parameters selected by the user. For more information, see Water Level Report Basics and the Water Level Elevation Correction Diagram.

Installation Instructions: This report assembly is part of the EQuIS Professional installation. No additional installation steps are necessary.  For use in EQuIS Enterprise, the report must be published to the database via EQuIS Professional, and the Water Levels II report DLL (EarthSoft.Reports.Library.64102.dll) must be added to the Enterprise bin folder.

Overview:

The report takes the output elements (e.g. REFERENCE_ELEV) of Water Levels II as new analytes, and appends them to the standard Analytical Results II output. The data mappings from the Analytical Results II columns to those of Water Levels II are:

The input location/individuals or groups of Analytical Results II are used for Water Levels II.

Note: DT_WELL_SEGMENT is added to the Additional Fields drop-down list of this report. The default value of SEGMENT_TYPE is SCREEN. The value can be modified in ST_CONFIG by populating a new SEGMENT_TYPE in STRING_VALUE of ST_CONFIG where CONFIG_SECTION=ar and CONFIG_KEY=SEGMENT_TYPE.

Input Parameters: Note the Additional Fields parameter may be customized as explained here.

Water Level\Task(s) (param_name "@task_wl_codes") uses a SingleSelect display_type by default, but it can be set to MultiSelect following the steps below by Administrators or SQL Server users with the appropriate permissions:

1.Open ST_REPORT and ST_REPORT_PARAMETER.

2.In ST_REPORT, search for the Analytical and Water Results report.

3.Copy the REPORT_ID.

4.In ST_REPORT_PARAMETER, filter REPORT_ID on that copied ID.

5.Find PARAM_NAME = @task_wl_codes.

6.Change the DISPLAY_TYPE from SingleSelect to MultiSelect to allow the selection of multiple task codes for water level data.

The "Water Level\Include Rows with no Water Level Data:" parameter is used to include or exclude the water level data rows with no values in REPORT_RESULT_VALUE. By default, the report will exclude water level data rows with no values in REPORT_RESULT_VALUE from the report output.

Note: If water level data has associated LNAPL data, a null or numeric DT_WATER_LEVEL.LNAPL_CAS_RN is required in order to run the Analytical and Water Results Report. LNAPL_CAS_RN from DT_WATER_LEVEL is mapped to numeric field REPORT_RESULT_VALUE in the Analytical and Water Results Report. Another option is to not populate DT_WATER_LEVEL.LNAPL_CAS_RN and instead use the Water Level\Default Specific Gravity: parameter described in this help page in determining the report's lnapl_density.
