Applying Licenses in EQuIS Enterprise

In EQuIS 7, Enterprise license keys are applied through EQuIS Professional. Active Client Access Licenses like Enterprise, Collect, and REST API must also be assigned to users via license roles. Create and assign these license roles as follows:

1.When adding or updating license keys, follow the steps in the Applying Licenses in EQuIS Professional article.

2.Log in to the Enterprise site as an administrator.

3.Append "default.aspx?action=deploy" to the Enterprise site URL (e.g., https://localhost/equis7/default.aspx?action=deploy) to create license roles. XML output regarding the roles created will appear after deploying.

4.Confirm the Enterprise licenses in the Role Manager on the Administration Dashboard.

5.Assign all active users to the new license role via the Role Profile Editor or User Profile Editor, as needed. If the Enterprise license level changes, active users must be assigned to the current Enterprise license role again.



1.Enterprise Workflow Service must be restarted each time license keys are applied.

2.License keys are exclusive to the Computer ID/Server ID and cannot be used interchangeably.

3.For a user to be able to access EQuIS Enterprise, they need to be assigned to an Enterprise license role.
